Support a work grant Rebecca and her colleagues

In 2025, we opened Horti Bistrot, a place that is not just a restaurant, but a space for growth and new opportunities. Every day, people with disabilities and prisoners benefiting from Article 21 participate in a training course for waiters and waitresses.

Here they learn about service, mise en place and professional skills, but above all they regain self-confidence and build their future. All this is possible thanks to work grants, which are essential tools for ensuring a real, dignified and supported path to integration.

With concrete support, our young people have the opportunity to test themselves, train and start afresh. Supporting a work grant means offering a chance for independence, inclusion and redemption. You too can make a difference: support a work grant, support the future of Rebecca, Adil and Matteo.

La Cattedra della Speranza con Nicoletta Polla-Mattiot

A journalist, she studies silence as a tool for communication, exploring its cultural, social and philosophical implications and offering interdisciplinary insights. In 2010, she founded the Academy of Silence. She has just published "Silence is Revolution: Listening to the Secret Sound of Life" (Einaudi).

In conversation with journalist Mauro Querci, the author offers a reflection on silence not as an absence but as a fertile space for thought, creativity and awareness. The book weaves together autobiography, neuroscience, philosophy and sociology, and invites us to consider silence as a form of cultural resistance in an age of constant noise and permanent connectivity.

I racconti della luna

On Sunday 26 April at 5.30 pm, I Satelliti are back to visit us. The inclusive theatre company I Satelliti brings a brand-new, site-specific travelling performance entitled “I racconti della Luna” to the Horti.

The characters who bring their show 2026 to life, on tour since June, will guide the audience through a series of visionary and poetic installations, via numerous small “sets” that bring the performers very close to the audience, in a unique, intimate and engaging way, just like the secrets the Moon whispers only to those who know how to listen.

From 7 to 28 May, we’ll be meeting every Thursday at Horti for a series of four crochet lessons in collaboration with Matilde Crea.

The course is designed for beginners or for those who want to brush up on their craft and discover new techniques: choose what to make, let Luciana’s expert hand guide you, create your own set and take your creations home!

Dynamic Yoga in the Park

From May to the end of September, Stefania Santoro is holding the second edition of the "Dynamic Yoga in the Green" course, a summer programme of Vinyasa Yoga that starts with the basics and explores the world of asanas (positions), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation in depth. Each lesson consists of yoga sequences suitable for beginners, breathing and meditation practices, to restore the well-being of body and mind.

The Horti are an urban park open to everyone, where natural habitats, contemporary art, ethical commitment, fairness and social inclusion intertwine.

For schools of all levels, we have various educational offerings that include guided tours, theatre performances and workshops for children and young people. We describe the park through the five senses, fairy tales and colours, as well as art, history, biodiversity, archaeology and ethics.
