On Saturday 4th May at 6.30 p.m., the exhibition 'Progetto Genesi. Art and Human Rights' will be inaugurated.

Pavia, thanks to the support of the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lombardia, hosts a stage of the Genesi Association's travelling initiative. The exhibition stems from the conviction that contemporary art can take on the role of ambassador of human rights. In line with the mission of the Horti, where natural habitats, art and ethics intertwine, the theme will be environmental protection.

Works from the Genesis Collection by international artists will be showcased, such as: Alaoui (France, 1982); Boghiguian (Egypt, 1946), Carbuccia (USA, 1968), Diaw (Italy, 1995); Dionisio (Italy, 1986); Harouni (Iran, 1985); Kadyrova (Ukraine, 1981); Madani (Iran, 1981); Mazzi (Italy, 1984); Nkanga (Niger, 1974).

An aperitif will take place after the inauguration.

The exhibition will be open Tuesday- Sunday, from 10 am to 6.30 pm. Last entry at 5.30 pm.
